Air-Fryer Salmon with Mango-Jalapeño Salsa

Blackened edges, a cold sweet-heat salsa, and zero pan to scrub. This is the weeknight fish argument, settled.

Method

  1. Toss mango, jalapeño, onion, cilantro, lime, and a pinch of salt. Let it sit while the fish cooks so the onion calms down.
  2. Pat salmon dry. Rub with oil, chili powder, cumin, and salt.
  3. Air-fry at 400°F, skin-side down, 8–10 minutes depending on thickness. The center should flake but still look a little translucent.
  4. Plate with a heap of salsa and the rest of the lime. Rice or a pile of greens, your call.
What we swapped Air fry instead of pan-fry in butter. Mango salsa replaces a cream or teriyaki glaze.
