Ok well it’s not a piece of cake… unless your cake is a peanut butter, chocolate, and oats cake that is smashed into a delicious ball. Then yes… yes it’s cake! Or… it’s because these things come together super quickly and don’t involve any baking at all! Just a little plus – they keep you full without weighing you down because they are packed with good stuff (and you are potentially justifying chocolate for breakfast… WIN!)

Piece of Cake Protein Balls

By Serves: 10 balls, depending on size Prep Time: 10 minutes Cooking Time: 0 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 cup old fashioned oats
  • 1/3 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 tbsp Amazing Grass Protein Superfood (Chocolate Peanut Butter)*
  • 1/3 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

1

Line a small baking sheet with wax or parchment paper. Set aside.

2

This is basically an easy dump recipe. Dump peanut butter, honey and protein powder in a medium bowl. Stir to combine.

3

Next add the oats and combine.

4

Add the chocolate chips and fold in.

5

Using a tablespoon, grab a spoonful and roll in your hands to form a ball. Place on prepared baking sheet. Repeat until all balls have been formed.

6

Once finished, pop in freezer for 10 minutes. Enjoy!!

Notes

To store, place in an airtight container and put in fridge. Lasts about a week, but you won’t need that long. *Any protein powder that you like can be substituted here.
