Quite the descriptive title right? This is such a great go-to lunch. You can use leftover deli meat, leftover bacon from breakfast (if you have the kind of family that doesn’t inhale all the bacon they see). If you don’t like an ingredient, leave it out. If you love one the ingredients, feel free to double up on it and make it your own.

Turkey Bacon Avocado Lettuce Wraps

By Serves: 2 Prep Time: 10 minutes

Ingredients

  • 4 iceberg lettuce leaves
  • 6 oz sliced turkey (chicken breast or even ham would work too)
  • 2 pieces of cooked bacon
  • ½ avocado, sliced
  • 4 slices of tomato (or halve a couple cherry tomatoes if that’s what you have)
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper

Instructions

1

Use 2 pieces of lettuce leaves for each wrap. I like to slightly overlap the 2 pieces of lettuce to make a nice large surface for all the ingredients to pile into.

2

Now it’s just layering. Lay 3 oz of sliced turkey into each wrap.

3

Top the turkey with a piece of bacon on each wrap.

4

Halve the sliced avocado and top each wrap with the avocado.

5

Spread two slices of tomato on each wrap. Season the tomatoes with a little sprinkle of salt and pepper (it doesn’t need much salt at all since there is also salty bacon).

6

Once all the ingredients are piled on, fold the lettuce around and dig in!
